omg it's really no problem at all, i'm happy to help!!! :D and i totally get the struggle of adapting to dreamwidth because that was me a few years back... also just make sure that you're updating your urls with the actual post number because it will be unique to each blog, for example if you go to your "about me" post it's /571.html, so you want to change your about url to that!
